Project status

Project so far:

Activities carried out since October 2006 to June 2008

• Confirmation of the identified and proposedlist of villages.
• Collection of secondary data for all the project villages.
• Attended Grama panchayat meetings for awareness generation on the project and project activities.
• Identification of the headquarter village for establishing the field office.
• Organised a workshop for community representatives like Grama panchayat president, Taluk panchayat members, Zilla panchayat members, Project Director of SGSY from Dharwad Zilla Panchayat.
• On 14.12.07 BLBC Meeting –held at Project Office Kalaghatagi. The following Officers were present: Mr. S. H. Kulkarni, AGM, NABARD, Dharwad, Mr. Parthasarathi, LDM, Vijaya Bank, Mr. Bhimapppa, Assistant Project Officer Zilla Panchayath, Dharwad, Mr. Palanakar, Assistant Project Officer Zilla Panchayath, Dharwad, Mr. Nandagaon, CPO, Zilla Panchayath Dharwad and All bank Staffs of Kalaghatagi Division.
• Project review meeting was held on 27.11.2007 at Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary, RDPR, New Delhi.
• Project review meeting was held on 10th March 2008 at M.S.Building, Bangalore under the chairmanship of RDPR principal secretary.
